[not sponsored/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s been a while since I last heard from Suqqu, so receiving samples of their latest lipstick – Suqqu Moisture Glaze Lipstick made me really happy. This lipstick is designed to give your lips a glazed, translucent, blurring effect, making it perfect for those who prefer a smooth texture that offers protection and slip, thanks to the presence of squalane.

These new lipsticks are now part of the core range. The standout feature for me is their melty texture when applied on the lips. The balm is made from a thick oil that adheres well to the lips, forming a rich film. The brand uses spherical powder particles that help the wax melt smoothly, giving a level of translucency to the lip color. While not completely transparent like a gloss, the colors have a lightness to them that makes them very wearable, even for those who are hesitant about wearing lipstick.

This is KOITSUMUGI, an orange coral shade with a subtle golden hue. The light reflects beautifully on this shade.

This is YOUYUKARI, a color that I wouldn’t typically choose for myself, but I like it enough to wear it again, once I can break away from wearing oranges!

This is HANAOBORO, a mix of brown, mauve, and grey that I will adore using during the summer. I feel it washes me out a bit currently, but as self-tanners start arriving, I’ll give it another go. Suqqu now offers lipsticks and holders separately, allowing you to just purchase refills instead of the whole product. The holder costs £6, and the refills (available in 10 shades) are £30 each HERE.
