[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] e.l.f. is currently releasing some impressive products, such as the e.l.f. Pout Clout Lip Plumping Pens, which seem to draw inspiration from Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balms priced at £36 each. Although I adore the Phantoms, the affordability of the e.l.f. Pout Clout Lip Plumping Pens at £8 each makes them a more practical choice for me. While the packaging may not exude luxury and the texture isn’t as lavish, the quality is certainly commendable.
The glossy finish of these pens catches the light beautifully and enhances their colors. The shade Plum, a popular juicy berry hue, is particularly stunning. There’s a hint of minty freshness when applied, providing a cooling sensation, although I didn’t notice any significant plumping effect. The cooling sensation fades quickly, so any plumping effect would likely diminish as well. Personally, I’m not a fan of the contrast between the cooling and warming sensations from the peppermint/menthol ingredients as it can be a bit distracting.
