Kosas BB Burst Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] If we go back to the origins of the BB Cream (blemish balms) they were there to soothe skin post-treatment with caring ingredients while giving coverage and protection. There’s no SPF in the Kosas BB Burst so you’ll need to add your own if you want sun protection as well. However, if you like a barely-there feel from your base, that box is well and truly ticked with this gel-tint formula.

Kosas BB Burst Review

I was sent three shades – 13, Light Cool, 14, Light Neutral (and the one I’m wearing) and 15, also Light Cool. There are 24 shades in total from very pale to very deep. I probably could wear any of these shades because they’re surprisingly close – just at different times of year.

From bottom to top: 13, 14 and 15. They really don’t look a lot different but if you want the most perfect match for you, I’d advise that you go into a SpaceNK and get matched there. The formula is very light feeling – cool feeling at the beginning – but I found that it needs a bit of extra blending into the complexion. I’ve worn Kosas BB Burst several times already and inspecting my skin in the magnifying mirror of doom, I could see where it hadn’t blended perfectly, so do just do that run over with the brush a couple more times and that will sort it out. I think it’s because of the gel nature of the BB cream – it’s just more fluid and more light than usual so it’s easy to think that you just swish and go.

As you can see, it’s uniform and allows for some glow. The formula contains copper peptides (to support collagen) and zinc (to calm redness). It’s £34 HERE.
