[unpaid/sample] Stick-on nails usually aren’t my thing – my clumsiness rather than style is what keeps me from using them regularly. But, despite that, these OPI nails looked so appealing that I had to give them a try. Applying false nails is a skill that requires practice – I can paint my nails well because I’ve done it countless times, but I struggled with these stick-on nails.
I won’t bore you with the details of dropping nails or struggling with glue, but if you’re new to this, I recommend starting with a simple practice set. OPI helps you match the nails to your fingers by providing a paper guide behind the nails in the box. Be careful when opening the clear plastic box, or all the nails might fall out, which happened to me.
Before applying the nails, prep your natural nails with the provided wipe and file down the ends. You then apply a bit of glue, press the false nail onto your natural nail, and hold it in place to set. Repeat for all ten nails. I wondered how long getting actual gel nails would take…
