[unpaid/sample] I was pleasantly surprised by these two lovely lip glosses from House of Colour as I haven’t tried their makeup before. Aside from makeup, House of Colour offers color consultations, which may seem old-fashioned but are trending again. Even though I haven’t had a color consultation myself, I can see that their attention to color detail pays off in cosmetics. Both of these glosses work for me because they are very sheer and complement my skin tone well.
The two shades I have are Sheer Peach (97) and Sheer Antique Pink (81). Of the two, Sheer Antique Pink is my favorite – it’s more of a warm beige with a light shimmer rather than a pink shade. The glosses have no distinct taste, which is great, and the formula has a lovely texture – just enough ‘stickiness’ to stay put without feeling sticky.
A touch of peach and shine adds a bit of life to my face – no makeup other than Phytosurgence Blush and a hint of bareMinerals Complexion Rescue. I’m reviewing eyeliners today, so I’ve left my eyes bare.

My favorite is Sheer Antique Pink as it complements my skin tone well and I can see myself reaching for it often, especially in the summer. It’s a versatile neutral shade that instantly lifts my mood. Priced at £22.86, they may seem expensive, but if you find the right color match, it’s worth it. You can find them here. The website could improve on showcasing colors better – swatches or guidance on shade selection would be helpful.
