I have been regularly checking the M&S website since I saw this bag at the press show. As soon as I finish writing this post, I am going to buy one. I’ve noticed that handbags from mainstream brands are increasingly resembling designer ones. I can give a couple of examples to support this point, but they are almost identical to bags that cost hundreds of pounds.
During the launch, this bag looked quite similar to Chanel, but after researching online, it appears to be more akin to an Ugg x Telfar collaboration (£210).
They look very similar, don’t they? The M&S version is entirely faux, including the ‘shearling’ trim, and costs £39.50. I believe this is an absolute steal considering how upscale it looks.

Here it is looking more lively – paired with mittens. If you have a teddy coat, the entire look will be delightful and very reminiscent of a brand starting with the letter “C.” Plus, it’s spacious enough for Dora to fit in it comfortably! I will carry my dog in this bag :-).
If you prefer Dior over Chanel, and blue instead of black, there is also a brand-new houndstooth tote in blue. It bears a strong resemblance to the Dior Book Bag (£2500).
The M&S version is also £39.50. It’s been a while since I’ve been excited about a bag, but as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. Have a great weekend :-).
