[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Previous mentions have been made about Ilia, but a recent event celebrating the brand’s entrance into SpaceNK was a gentle reminder of its exceptional qualities, particularly for mature skin. The brand is known for its texturally intelligent products – founder Saskia Plavsic in her forties has crafted formulas that enhance radiance with dewy finishes and flattering hues. While not afraid of color, the brand leans towards neutral tones. This is a two-part post, with another focusing on the stick blush, Dear Ruby, to follow.
One of the new products is the C Beyond Triple Serum SPF30, featuring Allantoin as a key ingredient. This exceptional moisturizer helps prevent dryness and irritation. I have shade 1 in C Beyond, which suits my current tone well, offering warmth and a radiant finish. Those with oily skin may find it slightly dewy – a light touch of powder can control shine, but it may not be ideal for oily skin types.
Another new introduction is the Colour Haze Multi-Use Pigment, available in five shades. While it can be used on eyes, lips, and cheeks, it works best as a cheek color. The shades I tested are Before Today, a rosewood shade, and Sing, a cool-toned pink. While it looked beautiful as a lid glaze, longevity was an issue on the eyes, and it didn’t quite feel right on the lips for me, though individual preferences may vary!

The Balmy Gloss in Only You is an immediate favorite of mine. It’s an oil/gloss hybrid that feels incredibly smooth on the lips. This range comprises six shades, and unlike many lip oils, these offer significant pigmentation with good lasting power, although oils are known for transferring.
