[unpaid/sample] I enjoy reviewing new lip glosses the most – glossy balms are my favorite and I have quite a collection, and now it’s six more :-). Smaller brands like Cosmetics a la Carte need to carefully consider new launches as it can be costly and risky to introduce products that may not sell well. Pavilion Road aligns perfectly with the current trend of a sheer bronzed plum shade.

Pavilion Road is the second gloss in the Sheer Brilliance range. While I will discuss all the shades as a reminder, the key aspect here is the term ‘brilliance’. These glosses contain micro shimmer that elevates them to the next level of luminosity. This lustrous quality helps create a lip look that is smooth, radiant, and full of life.

There are several shades in this collection that I really appreciate – my next favorite is Hampstead, a nude shade with a hint of mauve (all the shades are named after upscale London areas – I have yet to come across a lipstick or gloss named after Catford!).

In the swatch order, from bottom to top: Pavilion Road, Hampstead, Chelsea, Holland Park, Pimlico, and Park Lane.

This is Hampstead – an instant lip smoother.

And the newest addition – Pavilion Road – which is launching today. You can explore the range of 14 wearable colors HERE – Holland Park is the go-to shade for a very sheer but shimmering lip. At £32, these glosses may be on the higher end price-wise, but they are spot-on in terms of color selection and vibrancy.
