Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] After watching an on-line chat between Genevieve and make up artist (and friend) Caroline Barnes, I wanted to try something that Caroline recommended – Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel. Used on the waterline, it has a reputation for being one of the long stayers and an alternative to kohl.

The gel itself is very dark – quite intimidating to use such a densely pigmented shade in such a tricky area! This product has a loose texture, not a waxy feel, and a little goes a long way. Although I don’t have the ideal brush for it, an old Marc Jacobs brush worked well for me.

At the same time, I tried the Revlon Colorstay Creme Eyeshadow in Caramel, which is the easiest swipe and go shadow I’ve come across in a while.

It comes with its own brush, which may not be necessary but could be handy for touch-ups on the go. The texture is very soft – if I had oily lids, I would use a primer before applying. In terms of staying power, it’s pretty good – it dries on the lid and doesn’t smudge. When I touch it with a finger on my lid, nothing comes off.

Both products are pictured here. Caramel has a metallic element but is not frosty. I like the combination of it with the liner.

The Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel is usually priced at £14, but is on offer for £12 at Sephora HERE, and Caramel is £6.99 also at Sephora HERE.
