I believe whether you appreciate this will depend on your opinion of amber. For me personally, it’s a bit overpowering with amber, so if you’re a fan of amber, this will be right up your alley. It’s complemented with clove, which is another note that people either love or hate. I’m surprised to find it here, but it does give it a distinct personality.
The rose scent is prominent, with lovely sweetness coming from Rose Damescena, and as the perfume is worn, it gradually becomes more noticeable than the amber and clove. It’s a truly interesting experience because initially, I was definitely not a fan, but by the end, I was much more receptive. It’s the kind of fragrance that warms up as you wear it, and the initial impression is not at all the same as the lasting impression, and I quite appreciate the unpredictability of this.
