[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] If you enjoy a seamless red lip, Bobbi Brown’s Parisian Red has all the desirable qualities rolled into one. It’s creamy, lustrous, easy to apply, and brightens the face.
It’s currently unavailable on the Bobbi Brown website, which is unsurprising given its universal appeal, but I’ve found it at Sephora, where it happens to be £2 cheaper and includes free delivery. Personally, I have mixed feelings about intensely pigmented reds – I love sheer reds but find it challenging to confidently wear a powerful red. However, I firmly believe there is a red shade for everyone; it just requires a different perspective on red lipstick. One of the easiest reds I’ve worn is Glossier’s Lip Gloss in Red HERE for £15 – it provides a sheer wash of red that’s noticeable but doesn’t overpower the face. It’s one of my all-time favorite reds.
The last posting date for Sephora shopping is the 19th (today) to be sure of having it in time for Christmas, but there’s no rush if you don’t need it urgently. The great thing about Parisian is that it provides a one-swipe pigment level – you can layer it for extra depth, but a single application provides all the color you need. I used a lip brush to tidy up around my cupid’s bow, but other than that, I was pleased with how the color applied. I highly recommend it.
